Coffee and breakfast pastries are available in our room beginning at 9:15 AM each Sunday, so please come early for fellowship time! Nursery is available. - CURRENT SERMON SERIES: Pastor John is leading a five-part sermon series entitled, “Love Is...". In I John 4:8 we are told that “God is love.” In Galatians 5:22 Paul tells us that the “Fruit of the Spirit is love.” However, when it comes to defining what love is, few seem to describe it more clearly than the Apostle Paul in the 13th chapter of his first letter to the Corinthians. It is one of the most popular Scriptures read at wedding ceremonies, yet I’ll bet that this was not what Paul had in mind when he was writing this letter to this church. We encourage you to read and meditate on this incredible chapter daily in this five-part series discerning the reality of love.
- COMMUNITY OUTREACH: The Sandia Fellowship Women’s Breakfast group is again collecting gently used purses and new toiletries for Pursonalities Plus ABQ for distribution to deserving women in our community. We are collecting: Gently used purses and handbags, personal care items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, soap, shampoo, brush and comb, etc. They are especially in need of jewelry donations of any kind (new, used, broken, jewelry making supplies) because they make jewelry sets to put into the purses they deliver. Pursonalities Plus ABQ is a program that provides purses to women in various programs: victims of domestic violence, sex trafficking, homelessness, sexual assault, and incarceration. Please bring purses, jewelry, and toiletries with you to church.
- NURSERY AVAILABLE: Did you know Sandia Fellowship has a nursery set up every Sunday at the Sheraton Hotel in the Serenade Room? We have two wonderful nursery workers ready keep your little ones happy and entertained while you relax and enjoy John’s awesome sermon and Allan’s wonderful music. As Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, “Let the children come to me.” We invite the little ones to enjoy a safe place within a warm and loving Christian environment.
